A Sea trout research project during 2002-2004. The purpose of the study is to follow the spawning of male and female wild Baltic Sea trout in river Vindelälven (the Vindel River) and river Piteälven (River Pite) to see where the breeding take place. A knowledge that in the long run is needed to correctly exploite and preserve the Sea trout.

There are future plans for a similar study concerning the Sea trout spawning and the breeding places in the Vindel River (Vindelälven) and river Piteälven (River Pite).

Målsättningen var att i nationalälven Vindelälven följa vilda Östersjölaxhonors lekvandring samt utreda var fortplantning sker. En kunskap som långsiktigt behövs för att biologiskt korrekt både exploatera och skydda laxresursen. Du som inte följt detta forskningsprojekt via webben kan ta del av resultaten via denna länk

I framtiden planeras en liknande studie avseende havsöringens lekvandring och fortplantning i Vindelälven och Piteälven.

Hi,
one are busy structuring the Laxrace Site for the Salmon rising period (June-October 1999). They are also planning for stationary on-line cameras at interesting parts of the Vindel River (Vindelälven). As soon as they have finished their work you will find the link here.

man jobbar frenetiskt med att omstrukturera Laxracesajten inför laxvandringsperioden 1999. Det kommer eventuellt att sättas ut fasta kameror i intressanta partier av Vindelälven. Så snart det är klart hittar du länken här.
