Each Master's Programme 40 points/60 ECTS-credits :
The prerequisite for the first four programmes is a Bachelor Degree with a major in Business Administration 180 ECTS-credits. Within the Degree the student should have courses in Business Administration 90 ECTS. These 90 ECTS-credits should consist of a minimum of 60 ECTS from Introductory (A)- and Intermediate (B)-level courses (Management, Accounting, Financial Investments, Cost Accounting, Marketing). At the advanced level (C) a minimum of 30 ECTS-credits including the C-level thesis or equivalent. Concerning the Marketing Research & Analysis Management programme an added prerequisite is 15 ECTS-credits Statistics or similar. A recommendation for the Accounting and Finance programme is also 15 ECTS-credits Statistics or similar and a C-level course in Accounting 15 ECTS-credits.
The fifth programme, Economics. Prerequisites, a Bachelor Degree with a major in Economics 180 ECTS. Within this Degree the student should have courses in Economics 90 ECTS-credits. At the advanced level, C-level, in Economics the students require a minimum of 20 points including the C-level thesis or equivalent and a course in Microeconomics. It corresponds to 30 ECTS-credits.
The programmes consists of three major parts: core courses, electives and a master's thesis. The programmes run for 1 year full time and starts in the fall. In addition to the core course lectures, guest lectures with representatives from the business community will help the students with current case examples. You are required to pass all core courses, the recommended selection of electives and the master's thesis within the programme of your choice in order to graduate.
After completing a full year Master's Programme the student can apply for a Ekonomie magisterexamen 160p/Master of Science in Business Administration and Economics Degree 240 ECTS in the main subject Business Administration or Economics or a Filosofie Magisterexamen 160p/Master of Social Science with a major in Business Administration or Economics depending on the combination of Major and Minor subject in the students Bachelor Degree.
Each student that graduates from one of the Master's Programmes will apart from the diploma also receive a Diploma Supplement which describes the content and main goal of that specific programme.
The programmes will be taught in English if there are international students or staff in the class.
