Rödluvan in the snow
Part 66
On the yard

November 5. 2006

Me, Rödluvan was standing on the yard, laughing, laughing. My son, who took the picture said. "What are you laughing for?"  I answered: "Look, look! Santa Claus is coming with a BIG Christmas tree. :-D
Yes, there was a car drawing a big tree. This was strange. There was already a Christmas tree on the yard and nobody could have such a big tree in a little apartment. This tree should not be here. Santa must have lost the way.
The driver succeeded to turn the car and drove away. I  started laughing again. :-)
But he turned the car again and came back. Now we could see that it was not one tree. It were 4 big trees. But then the car drove away with the trees. The driver understood that they  should not be delivered here.
It had been snowing the whole night. It was like a Christmas card. But it still was not Christmas. It was only the fifth of November.
The yard looked like a fairy tail land. In summer these allotments are a flower paradise.
It was cloudy. The snow was coloured  in faint blue in the dusk light.
Every twig on this birch was painted with white frost. It looked gorgeous.
The fence by the front door of the house was like a work of art.
My feet disappeared in the snow. It was difficult to walk in the deep snow.
I went to the trash house that was decorated with snow.
The  lock of the door was snowed over. It was difficult to get the key in the icy lock.
I was walking in the deep snow. Slowly, slowly. And it was so silent. The snow absorbed all the noise.
This tree is used as Christmas tree every Christmas. The first of December the care taker of the yard put lights in it.  But now the tree was decorated with snow.
The berries were under a cover of snow.
It was beautiful to see these berries. This is hawthorn.
Is this a winter vacation cottage?  No, it is a storing house for the bikes. But now it looks like a cottage in the country.
In the background you can see the house there Rödluvan lives.
A car snowed over. You need  spade to throw away the snow around the car and you need a  brush to brush away the snow from the car. Often you also need a scraper to get away the ice from the windows.
In summer there use to be wonderful white flowers on this bush. Now the bush has snow flowers.
The motor heater for the car was snowed over too.
Bushes that use to have yellow flowers and a lot of bumble bees in summer. Now there are white snow flowers.
The play ground was snowed over. And the Swedish white beam are real white.
This Swedish white beam and these cars were was  snowed over too..
At the right you can see the house there I live.
Play ground. But no children there.
It was so peaceful here. Even this little storing house looked like a vacation cottage.
Snowed over bikes.
The tree that will be Christmas tree in December with the pretty little storing house.
Near picture of the snowed over play ground.
The Swedish white beams and the snowed over allotments.
Lilacs snowed over.
The carpet-beating rack is also snowed over.
Icicles on a lamp post.
The snow made this tree so beautiful.
Another beautiful tree covered with snow.
This house looks like a gingerbread house.
