Rödluvan in the snow Part 27 The polar bear 2006 |

| I was walking in the snow and heard somebody calling from a school yard: "Come to me, I want to meet you." | |

| 2006-01-29. Then I saw a shiny polar bear made of glistening ice. | |
 |
|
| 2006-01-29. There were strong spotlights shining with purple light on the school yard and this gave the bear a beautiful blue colour. | |
 |

| 2006-01-29. I walked to the polar bear. My shadow was very long in the light. | |
 |
|
| 2006-01-29. I said: "Aw! You are beautiful". Yes it was gorgeous to see this shining polar bear. "My name is Shiny", he said, "I will give you some light in the darkness. | |

| 2006-01-29. I said: "Wow!" And walked around the bear to take pictures of him. But my fingers became so cold. She had to rub my hand to keep them warm. The temperature was -5C = 5,00F !!! | |

| 2006-01-29. After it I was standing in front of the bear and we started talking. Shiny said: "King Bore, the King of winter sent me to your town". I heard about the light festival and want to take a look at it. | |

| 2006-01-29. The polar bear liked the red hearts that also belongs to the light festival. And there were sculptures made of snow in the ice rink. | |

| 2006-01-29. It was too cold to stay a long time with the bear. I pet the polar bear on it's cold nose and said: "Goodbye my friend". Shiny said: "Goodbye Rödluvan, and don't forget this: There is always light in the darkness. | |

A new meeting with the polar bear |

The polar bear was gone from this place a while. I was wondering where the bear had been. But the people from the town had taken him temporary to the new town hall for showing. Now the bear was back again. 2006-01-30. At January 30 I met the polar bear again. And now it was more shining as it was at January 18. This was because of the bear went wet of the milder weather. |

| Now the also was a Santa Claus made of ice, who was on the market place before, was standing at the place there the bear was standing before. Santa was not red anymore. Now he had the same blue colour as the bear had. | |
 |

| Today when I was on the bus, she saw from the bus window that the bear was back! I got off the bus and said by herself: "I want to meet him again". | |
 |
|
| I said: "Oh Shiny, welcome back where have you been?" Shiny said: "I have been by the new town hall. They had showing in the building and I was there to say 'Welcome' to all the people who wanted to look at the new town hall". | |
 |
|
| "Oh!" I said. "Now I understand. I showed a neighbour the picture I took of you before. And she said to me that she had seen such a bear with the new town hall too. She said. Maybe it was his brother. But now I understand, it was you who was there, he, he, this was real funny :-)". Shiny said: "Yes it was me, I said hello to your neighbour when she came to the town hall". | |

| I took some pictures again and on this picture you can see the bear Shiny and the shadow of me. After it I said goodbye to the bear and Santa. | |

| I got on the bus and saw Shiny, the polar bear, and Santa standing on the ice rink and I was waving to them.. | |
