Rödluvan and the light

In winter it's dark in Sweden. That's why we have a lot of lamps and candles in autumn and winter. The light is important. When the darkness in November and December is coming it's hard. Darkness make people tired. In many Christmas songs you can hear the words. "The light will return!"
In this story Rödluvan and her tiger will tell both about the darkness and the light.
The light can give the things an artistic and  nice effect. The light can give peace and confidence.

When it's getting dark, People light small nice lamps in the house.
There was a nice Christmas tree on the yard in the year 2002.  Also ohter year the tree was real nice.
But in the year year, 2007 there was such an ugly tree on the yard. Rödluvan was so sad about it.
In the year year, 2008 we got a nice tree.
2008. But the next day it was not glowing anymore.
2008. The garden Sante came and made the lamps glw again. and God decorated the tree wiht snow.
2009. But after New Year the evill was there again and destroyed the lamps donw on the tree. Not it looked so ugly.
Rödluvan had been longing for a nice tree on the yard. She went in into the woods and was standing there, shivering of cold.
But when Rödluvan came home she had got guests. Two of her dog friends were visiting Rödluvan. Rödluvan became warm again. The dogs said: "Why are you looking so sad?" Rödluvan told the dogs about the ugly Christmas tree on the yard. The dogs were listening and their eyes went glowing.
Rodluvan knew that is was en evil computer who did this bad work. That computer was before a server that should care for the mail and the internet. But it was a nasty thing that let virus and spyware come into the computers and the net. After a hard struggle the server finally was shut off.

But it still was standing in the basement and now it became a terrible ghost with glowing edges.

The dogs went furious about the nasty server. And they showed their teeth and went growling. They said: "We have to do something, but what!"
 
Suddenly an angel appeared. She said: We can make light by  ourselves and don't need the tree that the nasty server made. We also shall remember the Christmas trees we had the last years. We shall make light. And the whole world will be happy about it.
And Rödluvan did light all kind of lamps. This is a Santa with a lamp. And on the picture beside Sante is an old picture of the tree on the yard.

Here the snow was glistening in the light of a streetlamp too.
The sky was coloured in red and pink and a big rainbow was  over town. Again a work of art made by God, natures creator.
There were a lot o lamps on the store in town. It looked beautiful.
This polarbear in the blue ligth was gorgeous.
The workers at campus were the human angels who did light candles in a pot.  These candles are named marschaller. Rödluvan used to go to the candles and enjoy them on her way to work..
The neighbour yard also had a Christmas tree. A nice one.
Rödluvan had small lamps on her balcony. This were the old lamps she had before.

There were glistening icicles on the streetlamp.
When it went colder some layers of fog were around the Christmas tree. It looked beautiful. And snowflakes went dancing in the light of the lamps. Taken 2003.

Rödluvan got a tube with lamps for Christmas. The next year she should put it on the balcony. She needed to let an electrician install a grounded plug.

The next year the light tube was on the balcony and gave more light. 2006

The fruit was so shiny in the light of a candle. The light made this picture nice.

2005. Rödluvan went out to bring presents to the some neighbours. And the Christrmas tree on the yard was nice that year.
And Rödluvan did remember  again how gorgeous the tree was in the year 2002
The sun will scare away the dark clouds.
Angel spin
The lamps in Rödluvan Christmas tree were glowing. Rödluvan's tiger liked  his place under the tree.
Rödluvan put on the lamps indoors and let them shine.
Rödluvan bought this little shiny red adventstake. It  is battery-powered.
There was a blue lamp in the window. Skining like a star. And outside Rödluvan could see the moon.
In the kitchen window there was a big red star and an advent candle.
 
 
Rödluvan went to Foxy. She was in her winter sleep but Rödluvan asked Foxy for advice. Foxy said: "We can plant a lamp tree on the yard instead of that crazy Christmas tree.

Rödluvan said to Foxy: "You are crazy, there are no lamp trees". And Foxy was standing there and laughing. :-)
Then Foxy showed Rödluvan the lamp tree. When Rödluvan saw it she was laughing out loudly. How did that thing come in the rowan tree LOL :-)
Foxy called a real fox in the zoo. The fox came running through the woods The fox went growling and showed his teeth. He said: "We will fight against the evil computer.

But we will not fight with violence. We will fight with the light. Dark evil beings are afraid for the light".
And then the fox began to glow. A bright light was shining from his coat.
Rödluvan's friend, the black dog came. Her eyes went glowing and her leash was glowing too.
And Rödluvan's friend, the wolf came and he was glowing too.
Rödluvan's friend, the brown dog came too with glowin eyes and a glowing leash.
Rödluvan also met a dragon. The dragon said: "I can light up the yard with my fire".
At least the unicorn came and then a bright light was shining over the yard.
And Santa went out with his lantern.

Everyone went to the cave there the evil computer lived. And they let their light shine in the dark cave.
And they went singing and shouting. "The light will return, the light will return"!

The evil server could not stand the light. It went dizzy and became flat and was slowly fading away. All Rödluvan's friends went singing: "If you meet a shadow, then scare it away with the light".
And then the angels were landing and went singing about the shining star in Bethlehem
Rödluvan got a shiny star.
The crescent moon and the everinng star went up. No evil could destroy the light tha God made. Such a comfort to have the moon and the stars.
Rödluvan met 2 polar bears. They said to Rödluvan. Don't be sad. We are here to give you comfort. And we are friends of the light. And the light is always stronger then the darkness.
And the morning came with a gorgeous sunset. The light returned. And the  the darkness was gone.

This story is not only a funny fairy tale with nice pictures. It also has a message. Don't fight the darkness with violence. You shall fight the darkness with the light. And then the light will  win over the darkness. And shine upon the good ones.
