Rödluvan and the light festival
2008 and 2006
 
Me in the snow standing in the light of a floodlight by work. I  went to town to visit the light festival. But that day there was no snow yet.
2008. These polar bear lamps belong to an electric outfitter's shop. you can buy then to have in the garden.
2008. This polar bear is art and belongs to the light festival. But then the lamp inside the bear was not on yet. Picture taken with the flash.

2008. I went to the market place. A polar bear was rushing to me.
2008. But this bear was made of plastic and was on wheels.
2008. The bear was there for making advertising about our town.
2008. He was real cute.
2008. Back to the art polar bear for the light festival. Now the lamp inside the bear was on.

2008. In summer there's is a fountain on this place.
2008. Now they hade a light fountain.
2008. And after a while you heard a bubbling sound of water and the light became white.
2008. They had a festoon over the park that is in the middle of the street.

2008. The white light in the background spots are lanterns that children made. But the town put them up high, so nobody should destroy them.

2008. In summer there is a little creek. Now they made blue light in the creek like it should be water.
2008. I appeared the lanterns the children made.
2008. The children made art of the lanterns. They recycled packing, lit and caps and mugs made of plastic. If you see this from distance you think it are Chinese lanterns made of paper and decoration.

2008. Here you can see that they used packing. These plastic baskets are for the fruit phisilis. You can buy that in a shop.

2008. There is always light on this church when it's dark. This is not from the light festival.

2006 and 2008. They put up red hearts made of light tubes on the high fence of the school yard. This is so beautiful in real and it gives a warm red light.

2006. These houses are made of red bricks. But in the light festival they went blue. And there was red light in the windows. Before these houses were harbour storing houses. Now they have a school for art there.

2006. The SF building at the left is the cinema.  Light on en old tower building. And ghost sounds from the building.
2006. These lamps were floating in the pond at campus. It was also for the light festival. They called it for "Snow balls". But they had not made it water proof and several lamps were not lit.
2006. God made light festival too. A beautiful full moon was shining over the river.
