Rödluvan and the ducks in the cold
Part 12

2009-04-06. Me standing in the park again. It was still cold.
2009-04-06. We got a lot of new snow. But there was less ice on the pond now.
2009-04-06.  A lot of bridge ducks.
2009-04-06. Some ducks were on the railing.
2009-04-06. I fed the ducks again.
2009-04-06. Ducks on the bridge.
2009-04-06. Quack-quack looked so funny.
2009-04-06.  A male went angry at another male.
2009-04-06.  The ducks eating the food.
2009-04-06.  Quack-quack, quack-quack, quack-quack, quack-quack, quack-quack, quack-quack, quack-quack, quack-quack, quack-quack, quack-quack, quack-quack.
2009-04-06. Quackely was thinking that is could be practical with earplugs. :-)
2009-04-06.  The ducks got more food.
2009-04-06. Some ducks were eating, some of them waiting for food.
2009-04-06.  These ducks were following me. It looked so funny :-)
2009-04-06. A woman came and threw a lot of bread to the ducks.
2009-04-06. Here you can see the bread come down near the bridge railing.
2009-04-06. There was bread on the bridge too.
2009-04-06. Now Quackely was quacking :-)
2009-04-06.  I put bread on the bridge. Quack-quack was first and got the bread.
2009-04-06. Quackely tried to pass Quack-quack.
2009-04-06. But did not succeed. Then I gave her bread on the other side.
2009-04-06. Quackely looking down from the bridge railing.
2009-04-06. Quack-quack and Quackely were talking together.
2009-04-06. Quackely looked down again, she was rather curious.
2009-04-06. Quackely said. "Let me pass" !
2009-04-06. She was almost putting down Quack-quack.
2009-04-06. Quackely was begging me for food.
2009-04-06. She got a piece of bread.
2009-04-06. Quack-quack and Quackely were looking at each other.
2009-04-06. Suddenly another female came flying and Quackely felt down from the railing. But then she went flying.
2009-04-06. Quack-quack was standing on some bread crumbs, but did not see it.
2009-04-06. But Quackely saw the bread crumbs and came flying to the railing.
2009-04-06. She had some problems to come on the railing.
2009-04-06. But finally she was there.
2009-04-06. Now she could eat the bread crumbs.
2009-04-06. Quackely lost her head. :-D
And then Quack-quack also lost his head. LOL :-)

2009-04-06.Two male were fighting.
2009-04-06.  One of them was almost standing on the back of the other.
2009-04-06. But then he tipped over and had his legs upside.
2009-04-06.  Quack-quack and Quackely did not care of the fight. They were thinking about their wedding :-)
2009-04-07. A big wolf (dog) came walking with his mom. But the ducks did not take notice of the dog. Maybe they know that this dog is not dangerous. But I still was confused about why they were so afraid of the little white dog.
2009-04-07. Quackely looks so funny here.
2009-04-07. Quack-quack found the bread on the railing.
2009-04-07. Quackely was looking at me.
2009-04-07. Walking to the bread.
2009-04-07.  Quack-quack is beautiful!
2009-04-07.  Now Quackely tried to pass Quack-quack again.
2009-04-07. Now  both were quacking! Quack-quack, quack-quack, quack-quack, quack-quack, quack-quack, quack-quack, quack-quack, quack-quack, quack-quack, quack-quack, quack-quack.
2009-04-07. And now it was me who was thinking that it could be practical with earplugs. I put her hood over my ears LOL :-D

2009-04-07. This female was looking at a beautiful male. And they fell in love.
2009-04-07. They were hiding behind the bath house under the bushes. And they made all kind of funny quacking sounds.
2009-04-07. I was smiling and thinking about how sweet their ducklings will be.
2009-04-07. Splash!
2009-04-08. The ducks left the park and came walking to my on the little parking lot.
2009-04-08. But I did not feed them there. I walked in into the park and then all were following me.
2009-04-08. Some ducks came flying to me. Flap, flap!
2009-04-08. And more ducks were following me.
2009-04-08. Now they got food.
2009-04-08. I crossed the bridge.
2009-04-08. Then they followed her over the bridge.
2009-04-08. I see bread, yummy!
2009-04-08. I fed the ducks in the water too.
2009-04-08. BREAD !

I  loved the couple Quack-quack and Quackely. They were so funny. :) You can see the duck couple on the bridge  in the background.

This was the last time I met the ducks in the cold this year. It became warmer at Easter. Many ducks left the park and they were also busy to get a partner. But now I have the memories.
