1989. The summerhouse in Norrmj�le. In the vacation we rent this house. This is a typical Swedish country house.
1997. Hi, this is my hiding behind a pine. In this site I want to tell about our vacation in a summer house in the country. Picture taken on the yard by the houses.
1998. Many people spent their summer in a cottage or a house in the country. You can own or rent a house. You can also rent a little cottage on a camping.

The University in Ume� owns a property in the country that consists of two old wooden houses.
1999. It consist a barn.

1999. And it consist also a boathouse by the coast.
1990. Employees may rent one of these houses for one week for a small amount. We have been so lucky we could rent one of the houses almost every year.

The property is in the woods. The coast is only a few kilometres from here.

1990. The houses are called �The little house� and �The big house�. The model of the houses is called �V�sterbottens g�rd� These houses are typical for the county of V�sterbotten.

There is electricity, cold and hot water, refrigerator, a very little freezer and bathroom in the houses. But no telephone. The big house has five rooms and a big kitchen. The little house has three room and a kitchen.

The big house looks nice on the outside while the little house is more unpretentious on the outside. But the little house is more cosy inside. We prefer to rent the little house. It fits better to our little family.

The house has a bedroom, a very little bedroom, a little storing room, a dining room, a kitchen, a  living room and a bathroom with WC and shower. The attic is not fit up and locked for the tenants

 We most lived in the little house. It was more cosy and practical.
1996. The big house.

The house has a hall, a big kitchen, a little sitting room, and a living room. Upstairs there are three bedrooms a hall and storing room, and a bathroom with WC and bath tube. The room on the upper floor at the left on the picture was not fit up and the door was locked for the tenants.

If we not could get the little house we lived in the big house. The rooms in this house were big and the ceiling in the rooms was high.
1991. Both houses include a ghost. No, I'm just joking. ;-) It's me playing the ghost. Lennart and I had a lot of fun with playing the ghost.
1999. The trash bin was standing behind the barn in the woods. I called it for "The green man with the black shoes."
1999. There was a nesting box on the wall of the barn. Swallows were living in it.

1996. Once a woman was horseback riding in the woods and then they met a bear! But the woman could turn her horse and ride away.

1999. On our walk to the shop we passed this house that belongs to a farmer. Sometimes we bought smoked fish of him. The family had a dog who always was out on a long line. The dog was always barking when somebody passed. I liked the dog and talked to him when we passed.

1998. I wrote a lot of letters in the summer house and post them in the box by the country road. The mailman took the mail to the post office in town.
