Me by the open sea. Finland is on the other side.
Here you can see the horizon. Heaven and the sea are meeting.
Taken with a long telephoto lens. An island in the far distance. It looks like there is a light house on that island.
At the East coast there is not so much sand and beach. The cost has most rocks. It's difficult to walk on this. There is a bath and beach on the other side of the island, but we never had time to go there.

A wave was coming. It was wonderful to hear the sound of the sea.

One of the swans was diving.
We had pickled herring and boiled potatoes to lunch. Notice that the potatoes were boiled in the peel. That was before common in the north of Sweden and then you peel it on you plate. There are still people who cook it in the peel. But I prefer to peel the potatoes before I boil them.

Midsummer at the island. First they dressed the May pole with leaves and flowers.
After it some strong people are helping to rise the pole.
They put it in a holder on the ground.

There was a playground for children There they build modells of the houses at the island in smaller size. Children could go in there.

On the other side of the island the houses are made of bricks and there were beautiful gardens. Ove walking on the path.

I felt happy to see the boat coming. That boat should take me to the parking lot on the other side, there the car was waiting.

The boat made these waves.

The E4 seems to end in the blue sky. :-)
On the top of the hill. At the right you can see the moose fence.
When I came home the tiger named "Tiger" and the fox named  "Zorro" were meeting me and asked me to tell about the trip.
And I told about the green grass the beautiful flowers and the blue sea.
