Sad Foxy	Foxy and a Roe Deer tragedy 2008-09-20
A Roe Deer (Capreolus capreolus) crushed this window in the building there Ove work and this happened at lunch time in the weekend. There are woods, but not so near the building. The woods are behind a field. This window is lying between 2 houses and there is a little park between these houses.

Ove has a key to this building because he wa working there in 2008. The security officer did clean up the most of the glass. The roe was injured, you can see this on the broken glass.
I can't understand how the roe could jump over the handrail of the staircase.  1. And the tragedy is that the roe then  felt down the staircase 2. The roe felt down in to the basement. 3.
There were bloodstains everywhere on the floor.
It seems that the roe tried to go through this door. But there is iron wire in the glass window. There was blood on the glass window too.

I read in the Local radio home page that the security officer came and called the police. And the police had to kill the poor roe. My theory is that the roe saw the reflection of itself in the window. And maybe went angry to the "other roe".  If you go back to the first picture you can see of the rowan trees reflecting in the window there the glass is not gone.

Fortunately we never saw the injured roe. Such a roe is almost as big as a reindeer. You can read about that kind of roe and read the measure of it in the link below.
