2009-21. I made a ride with Lorvtroll

This site also will tell about the other animals and the wonderful atmosphere and nature at the open air museum, Gammlia.
2009-07-14. Lorvtroll did not pull the carriage today. Here he was looking for Stjärnblixten
2009-07-14. Stjärnblixten was pulling the carriage.
2009-07-14. The sign of the café. The café  is called in English: "Tegs coffee cottage".
2009-07-15. I bought a red second hand Fjällräven ( Arctic fox" jacket. It is exactly the same jacket as the beige one, but this one is red.

2009-07-15. I made a ride with Lorvtroll.
2009-07-15. I took pictures of the whole ride, it's like a sight seeing.
2009-07-15. The woman said to the horse. "Go left" and the horse understood.
2009-07-15. Lorvtroll was allowed to trot on this path.

2009-07-15.  It was fun to hear the clatter of the hoofs:
2009-07-15. Clip-clop, clip-clop, clip-clop, clip-clop.
2009-07-15. The woman told the horse to turn to the right. The horse understood.
2009-07-15. Now we were in the woods.
2009-07-15. There is a little hill down. But then the woman could  push on the break in the carriage so it would not go too fast.
2009-07-15.  This time I was not walking in the woods. I was riding in the woods.
2009-07-15. It was a wonderful ride in the woods.

2009-07-15. The woman told the horse to turn right.
2009-07-15. On this path the horse could trot.
2009-07-15. Clip-clop, clip-clop, here we go!
2009-07-15. Still trotting. The horse passed a cottage that in former times was a shoemaker's shop.
2009-07-15. When the horse came to the crossing he stopped trotting.
2009-07-15. On the way up to the yard.
2009-07-15.Stjärnblixten is looking  at Lorvtroll and Lorvtroll was on his way to start trotting. But now he was not allowed to do this. The woman told him to stop.
2009-07-15. We reached the yard.
2009-07-15.  Now Lorvtroll started on another ride.
2009-07-15. Jackdaws on the fence.
2009-07-15. Cock-a-doodle-doo!
2009-07-15. The sky went dark. We went home
2009-07-16. Lorvtroll got a coat. There were so much insects and he was bothered of them
2009-07-16.  Stjärnblixten was not as sensitive as Lorvtroll

2008-07-17. Another sunny day with me in the carriage.
2009-07-17. I always waited until all the children had taken the ride. Then I could take a ride alone.

When there are no passengers at all, they must ride alone with the horse, because the horse don't like to stand still a very long time.
2009-07-18. Today it was Lorvtroll who was alone in hte meadow.
2009-07-18. Gammlia is a paradise. There are nice places everywhere

2009-07-18. The goat was lying in front of the barn.
2009-07-19. A camouflaged horse in the woods, but you can see something red. It's me, Red Foxy in the carriage :-)
2009-07-19. The houses are a museums. Inside the houses are old things. This is an old organ. But it works very well. One day there was a man playing on it. I was listening and enjoyed it very much.

2009-07-19. A typical old Swedish coffee pan. You put coffee in the pan and water and boil it. You need to buy  special "boil coffee for this". There is flat bread in the basked.

The butter is made at Gammlia. They use to show how they churn butter. There are bits of sugar. But no tea spoons with the cups. You put the bit of sugar in you mouth and then drink coffee and get the sweet taste. This is special hard sugar. We cal this for "drinking on a bit".

2009-07-20. Today Lorvtroll was alone in the meadow.

2009-07-20. He was looking at me.
2009-07-20. I picked some grass and gave it to him.
2009-07-20. He got some more grass.
2009-07-21. The woman took Lorvtroll to the carriage.
2009-07-21. Here they put him on the carriage.
2009-07-21. They always made a little test ride before they let people follow in the carriage
2009-07-21. Also today I waited until the others had made a ride. Today there were not so much people because the weather was not so nice.

2009-07-21. This house is a "summer barn". . If they have the cattle far from the farm they can be in this kind of house.
