Foxy made some walks by the river. This river in Umeå is called Umeälven = The Ume river. This picture taken 2009-07-17.
2009-07-08. The Ume river is big and wide.
2009-07-14. Me standing in the park by the river. That park is named Trädgård Norr. Means: Garden North. This park is now replaced by a new nice park.
2009-07-14. A little longer from the river is a park named Rådhusparken. Means Town Hall Park. But this is by the old town hall. (building in the distance).

2009-07-30. There are 3 bridges in the centre of tonw. The newest one is called Kyrkbron, means: Church Bridge. You can see a part of it.

2009-08-03. Now I was on the chursh bridge. In the distance you can see the "middle bride" name Tegs Bridge. But I had this year no time left to walk on the "middle bridge".

2009-08-03. It took almost one hour to walk from home over the bridge to a store named Expo. I bought little green and a little yellow duck.
2009-08-03. But I could not buy this little frog because it was a showing frog. You needed to buy a big green bag with all kind of bath things And I have no space to buy things I don't need.

2009-08-03. I rushed uphill to town and hurried in into the ICA shop. Just in time. The rain was pouring down!

2009-08-03. I had no rain clothes with her that day. And was happy I was not on the bridge in the rain.
2009-08-03. I bought food in the ICA shop and was talking with a co-worker who happened to be there too.

2009-08-03. I had this food at a Chinese restaurant named Eurasia. It was delicious.
2009-08-04. This nice little pond it in the centre of town and the park goes in the middle of the street.
2009-08-04. The brown boat is named Sjöbris. Means: "Sea Breeze". It is on this boat and on the deck by the river they have the "Boat restaurant". The real name of the restaurant is Sjöbris.
2009-08-04. This day I took a walk upstream the river. The river comes from the mountains in west.
2009-08-04. This bridge is called Tegsbron. There is much traffic  because the road E4 was going here in 2009. Now the E4 goes around the outside of town.

I want to go to the river again next summer and then take more pictures when the sun is shining and the water will look blue. I love Umeälven (The Ume River). This picture was taken by the river 2009-08-04.
