Foxy and the ducks and geese

This Canada goose was landing in the pond in front of me. Normally the Canada goose is wild. I need to tell the story about this goose:

A farmer put every summer out some tame ducks and geese. But then a wild Canada goose started living with the tame geese. And in autumn when the farmer should take the geese indoors, the Canada goose was still there. It did not want to move to the south. Then the farmer took care of that goose too and it stayed with the other geese and became tame.
There is a nice pond in the fields by Mariehem..
Here you can see the geese.
They are living on a nice little island and they have a little house there.
One of the geese is hidden behind the leaves.
The geese on the island. They never came on land to get food. I think they were not hungry.
This picture is taken 2003. Then the gees were hungry. When I walked away, they follow me like I should have been their mother. It looked so funny.  LOL :-).

2003. Here all the ducks went back to the pond when my food was eaten.
Back to 2007. There were some mallards in the pond.
Now the tame ducks came and saw I had food.
Waiting for bread.
This one is also waiting for bread.
It was real fun to fed the ducks. Some children came with their parnets. I gave the children bread so they also could feed the ducks.
Swimming fast for getting the food.
Now there also came a mallard for food.
And young gull came. But look, there is a duckling in the water. Only one duckling. And where was the mother to the duckling?
The duckling looks so cute.
But it soon disappeared between the weeds.
Now the ducks came on land to get food.

Back to 2007. The pigeon also got some bread.
The first picture of this site showed the Canada geese. Here he was waiting for my bread and looking at me.
He turned around.
And looked at me again. Of course I gave him bread.
Now the Canada goose came on land.
I gave him bread.
It was fun to see this goose so near me.
Now the Canada goose was on his way back to the pond.
The ducks also went back to the pond.
Here you can see how the island looks from land.
Oh, oh, the sky is black. I stopped feeding the ducks and walked home.
I came home in time, before the rain was pouring down.
