Foxy and the autumn

 Ducks in late autumn. 2007
 
I bought this duck in a cafeteria in Olofsfors. Then it still was summer. I felt so happy.
Now there are not so much autumn colours anymore. This page will show the ducks in late autumn.
2007-10-18. Still some trees with leaves. And there were 5 ducks in the pond.
2007-10-18. This duck looks so funny she said: "Quack, quack!" all the time.
2007-10-18. The "lonely duck" is swimming to a bit of bread in the water. But this duck is not alone anymore. She had more duck friends
2007-10-18. The lonely duck waiting for more food.
2007-10-18. Ducks in the grass by the pond by the hospital.
2007-10-18. Two men were feeding them.
2007-10-18. A female duck flying up and eating from my hand. I fed the duck with my left hand and took the picture with my right hand.
2007-10-18. A male has a bit of bread in his beak.
2007-10-18. Now the male was flying up to me and eating out of my hand.
2007-10-18. Another duck flying to my hand.
2007-10-18. Many ducks on the same place for a bit of bread :-)
2007-10-18. I tried to let this female eat out of my hand.
2007-10-18. Here a female is running around with a big bit of bread in her beak, and the others are after her trying to take the bread from her.
2007-10-18. He, he, he, it looks so funny to see the duck running around with the bread. :-)
2007-10-18. But she did win and kept the bread.
2007-10-18. A male on it's way to fly up to me.
2007-10-18. Here he is flying and taking the bread.
2007-10-19. A sunny day by the pond by the hospital.
2007-10-19. This is so peaceful.
2007-10-19. Is not he gorgeous with his green head.
2007-10-19. When I walked around the pond, all the ducks were turning and did swim in the direction I was walking.
2007-10-19. Here the water from the pond by the hospital goes down in a creek, after it in a creek under the ground and after that the water will run out in the Ume river. There is always streaming water in this pond.
2007-10-19. A picture of the bridge over the creek  on the other side. That creek runs under the ground and under the hospital and out in the pond. I took this picture from the bridge that is on the picture above.
2007-10-19.  I saw a squirrel in the park near her home. The magpies were chasing the squirrel. I could not get on the camera in time and show a picture I took  2007-08-31
2007-10-22. The golden eye in the pond at campus.
2007-10-22. The ducks in the pond at campus. The duck who  is not so afraid always comes first.
2007-10-22. It was most these 3 females who I fed at campus.
2007-10-23. Today there only were 2 ducks.
2007-10-23. They were swimming after me when I walked around the pond.
2007-10-23. Two females, one of them looking if there should come a bit of bread in the water.
2007-10-23. The crows also got some bread. The crow in the background has a bit of bread in his beak.
2007-10-23. Two ducks, two crows and two magpies searching for bits of bread after I had gone.
2007-10-23. I found a tree with a lot of birds.
2007-10-23. And I got a real surprise. The birds were waxwings who were eating of the berries.
2007-10-23. A waxwing in the tree.
2007-10-23. I found this beautiful leave in the woods by work. But there were no trees there that has that kind of leaves. It must have blown a long way to this place.
2007-10-24. Here she comes again. I had not reach the pond yet, but she saw me coming and went flying over the pond to land.
2007-10-24. Two ducks were following me. But they dare not to go over the bridge. They swim in the water and meet me on the other side of the bridge. I don't know why they will not go over this wooden bridge.
2007-10-24. Today it was a flag day. They had the flags up at campus. I looked in my calendar and saw that it is the FN day today.
2007-10-24. Here she comes again.
2007-10-24. And here she comes on land again.
2007-10-24. But these two males and another female never come to me for bread. They seem to be afraid for people.
2007-10-25. Four ducks on land and four in the pond.
2007-10-25.  The ducks were swimming after me while I walked around the pond.
2007-10-25. A male and two females.
2007-10-25. These ducks were swimming rather fast to come on land and get bread.
2007-10-25. These two females were following the male duck all the time.
2007-10-25.  Here the ducks were coming to me in a line. It looked so funny
2007-10-26. The ducks saw me coming and met me on the path.
2007-10-26. The male with the two females again, now swimming in the water.
2007-10-26. Here they were following me in a line. Crazy ducks :-)
2007-10-26. Male and female. This looks so cute.
2007-10-26. Flying over the water to me. As soon the ducks see me on the path I can hear a loud "QUACK" that means. "Food is coming" and then all fly to me :-) LOL
2007-10-26. This picture is so funny with the magpie and the ducks.
2007-10-26. The waxwings were at campus again.
I had a wonderful late autumn with the ducks and the birds. But it's cold now and my winter jacket will hibernate. I will go out in my red Rödluvan jacket instead.

All the pictures of the summer and autumn will be a nice memory in the cold winter.
