Cat, dog, ducklings
 
Me the pond and my little friend, a duckling in the pond with the marigold.
2006-05-20. On this picture of last year you see the cat named Måns. He use to help his mom working in the garden. Måns is looking at the empty garden and said "Meow!" There are not so much flowers. But only the spring flowers can grow this time of the year. The other flowers  need warmer weather. And that's why the garden still looks empty.
2007-05-24. I was to with pond by the hospital. And there I got was a real surprise. There were ducklings! I was amazed when I saw that both the male and female were caring for the ducklings. I never had seen this before.
2007-05-24. The ducklings were so cute!
2007-05-24. The mother came on land and wanted bread. The ducklings followed her. But they could not eat bread yet. I made very small crumbs of bread but they did not understand this yet.
2007-05-24. The mother duck was very hungry.
2007-05-24. Here you see the male, the female and the ducklings in the water.
2007-05-24. The pigeon also got some bread crumbs.
2007-05-24. Here the whole family was swimming. The mother in front, the ducklings in the middle and the male behind.
2007-05-24. The mother went on land again with her children.
2007-05-24. And did hide herself and the ducklings under the plants.
2007-05-25. I was standing on the bridge by the library at campus. And there I saw ducklings too. But here only the female was caring for them..

2007-05-25. Now they were on their way out in the pond.
2007-05-25. Do you remember the "wolf" in "Foxy and the flowers part 1"? This big German Shepherd was out again and was jumping in the water there the ducklings were swimming. The duck mother made a warning sound.

I cried: "Oh dear God! Help!"

Fortunately the dad of the dog saw what happened and called his dog. The dog went out of the water and went to his dad. He put the dog on the leash. I felt relieved.
2007-05-25. The ducklings were moving on. Here I could see that the duck had 10 ducklings.
2007-05-25. Another adorable picture of the ducklings. I could not stop take pictures of them.
2007-05-25. Workers in the air. They were building a house beside the library.
2007-05-26. We had our anniversary. I got these flowers. I also had my name day, "Wilhelmina".
2007-05-26. The iris is gorgeous.
2007-05-26. The rose is also gorgeous.
2006-05-26. I got these roses last year to our anniversary.
2007-05-26. I had to travel to the southern part of Norrland to the town Örnsköldsvik and have a birthday party there. The road E4 goes through the woods.
2007-05-26. The E4. There were warning signs for the moose. And they put up a fence so the moose will not cross the road. But sometimes people do not close the gates in this fence. Then you can get a moose inside the fence on the road!
I have seen moose on the road. I took this picture from the car. (The moose at the right) And this also happened on myr name day, May 26. In the year 1980.  I never forget this. It was scary!
1980-05-26. Ove put on his warning blinkers to warn the car driver behind our car. Here you can see (at the left) how the moose was going in into the woods again.
1980-12-24. Moose with the side of the E4. I took this picture also from the car. That time there was no fence for the moose yet. They build the fence for some years ago.
2007-05-26. I met a dog at the party. The dog's name is Igor. He had taken a shoe. But he did not destroy it. He always use to take a shoe when somebody is ringing the doorbell to visit the family. Funny dog :-)
2006-05-26. Last year on may 26 I met a cat on the yard.
2007-05-26. Ove and I on their anniversary. On the yard with the house their  Ove's mother lives. Lennart took the picture.
2007-05-26. I saw a blooming tree. The climate at the south of Norrland was different and it was more green here.
2007-05-26. On the road again. I had a safe trip home.
2006-05-26. Back to last year. Some grape hyacinths were growing on the yard.
2004-05-31. Grape hyacinths on the yard.
For two years agoa I took this picture. 2005-06-11. A close picture of a grape hyacinth.
2007-05-27. The grape hyacinths were small. Nice with the yellow daffodils, the red tulips and the blue grape hyacinths and the white narcissus.
2006-05-19, late afternoon. I went out to the yard to look for flowers. And I found these tiny blue flowers.
2006-05-20.  This morning one tulip was blooming. I never have seen this kind of tulip. The man who owns this part of the garden said that there also are black tulips of this kind.

2006-05-20. The neighbour also had some daffodils and white narcissus in his garden.
2007-05-25. The mother of the ducklings near the bridge. She wanted some bread.
