Foxy and the flowers
Part 1. 2006, 2007
Spring A
 

I have different jackets of a Swedish trade mark named Fjällräven = Artic Fox. That's why I'm called "Foxy". I will take you to the wonderful land of flowers and other beauty in nature.

2007-04-11. I found the first coltsfoot with a hillside. This flower is growing when the grass is not green yet. This one looked different as the coltsfoot that I took 2006-05-10.

There is seed in the middle of the flower.

Look at this coltsfoot. The seed is gone.

2006-05-10. On a hillside in the wood with  my work work there were coltsfoot growing. I said: "This flower looks like a sun". This one looks different from the coltsfoot I took 2007.

2006-05-04. Finally I found Coltsfoot (Tussilago). I had been longing to see these. I felt so happy to see the Tussilago again.
2006-05-17. Coltsfoot on the yard. There was an ant on a flower.
2007-04-16. I saw the first scilla.
2006-04-26. There were some scilla very near a wall.
2007-04-26. A close-up picture of the backside of a scilla.
2006-04-26. I don't know if these white flowers are Scilla or not.
2007-05-04. Scilla on our yard in the grass. Here the grass is a little greener
2007-05-04. Scilla in the garden of a new neighbour. leave is a rhubarb leave.  I hope to find out how she did this.
2007-04-12. Snowdrops near a house wall
2006-05-04. There was one snowdrop growing on the yard. A beautiful tiny flower.
2007-04-12. I found crocus near a house wall.
2006-04-26. Another kind of blue crocus.
2007-04-12. Yellow crocus not real in bloom yet.
2006-05-19. I found yellow crocus on the yard.
2007-04-12. White crocus and some blue that are not were in bloom yet.
2006-04-25. There were also white crocus under some ohter bushes. I had to go down on my knees and crawl under the bushes to reach the flowers.
2006-04-26. White crocus. Blue crocus not in bloom yet.
2006-04-25. That day it was still cold. I took a walk at lunch and found the first flower of the spring. It was a crocus.
2006-04-25. Here are more crocus. They were growing under some bushes near the wall of a house. On other places there was still snow. But today it was rather warm and the snow was melting. There were some ants on the flowers. I said to the ants: "Hi small friends, welcome back to the wonderful land of flowers".
2007-04-26. I found some crocus with the pond. Crocus with the pond
2007-04-26. There were yellow crocus with the pond too. The grass is still not green.
2006-05-04. On the yard the flowers use to come later. There were some crocus. Not all of them had opened yet.
2007-05-04. Crocus on our yard.
2007-04-24. Early morning with the pond at campus. The water is glistening in the low sunlight. The grass is not green yet.
2006-05-08. These buds will soon be leaves.
2006-05-08. I whispered: "So beautiful they are."
2007-04-25. It hurts when the buds burst.
2007-04-25. A beautiful butterfly was sitting on the dry leaves. I admired the butterfly.
2007-04-25. What is this? Are they white balloons? No it are lamps. Last autum this was a piece of art named "Snowballs". I did not understand why they did not take away the lamps.
2006-11-24. That date the lamps were glowing on a raft in the pond. In the middle there were some red lamps. Unfortunately not all lamps were glowing.
2007-04-25. A beautiful male duck was swimming in the water.
2007-04-25. The male was not alone. He had a female with him.
2007-04-25. I gave the ducks some bread. The couple of ducks came on land.
2007-04-25. Look, there was a wolf in the pond too! But that day I had not my  Red Riding Hood jacket on.

It was a big German Shepherd who could swim very well

2006-05-04. I went to the pond at campus and met my friends, the mallards.
2007-04-26. A gull standing on a little island in the pond.
2007-04-27. The beautiful male duck was in the pond again. I said: "Where is your wife, is she OK?". But the wife maybe was hiding and sitting on egg.
2007-04-27. The male duck came ashore and said: "Do you have some bread?" The gull came ashore too and said: "Do you have som bread?" Both got bread.
2006-05-19. I bought yellow roses on my way home.
2007-04-27.  Yellow roses.
This one was beautiful.
2007-04-29. I was on the yard and met a neighbour. She showed me this beautiful Christmas rose in her garden. I was stunned of it's beauty. This flower could stand the cold. That day it was only one degree and at night the temperature was zero. But the flower survived. There are rain pearls on the flower.
2007-05-04.  The Christmas rose in the low sunlight.
2007-05-04. Turtles made of ceramics with the Christmas rose. The first part of the spring use to be cold. Only the early spring flowers can survive.
