2008-07-03. Me on the boat M/S Cinderella.
I was on her way to the plane from the airport in Umeå.
Me in Stockholm by the train Arlanda Express. That was a wonderful train with good seats.
I should made a sea cruise with the Viking Line M/S Cinderella. The boat had not come yet. Here I was standing by the boat, Mariella.
Now the boat Cinderella came to the harbour. I should make the trip on this boat.
Picture taken through the window of the gateway to the boat. The boat should leave at 18.00.
A professional photographer from Viking Line took pictures of all the passengers. You could buy the photo the next day. I'm looking happy on that picture. This picture is scanned and resized. In real it's much better.

Foxy met this photographer again on her next trip with Cinderella. And he said I can put up this picture because I had bought it. But I  will thank the photographer for taking such a good picture.

The evening started with delicious food. You could taka all kind of food from the buffet. There was all kind of cold fish, pickled herring, Baltic (small) herring and salmon, all kind of cold meat and some warm dishes.

The warm dishes on the picture are: From left to right: Small Swedish meatballs, chicken, prince sausages, and scrambled eggs.

Me in my blue hooded jacked that I bought in London.

Here you can see the prince sausage on the fork. It are small sausages and you also have these on the Christmas table.

Ove took this picture on the Thursday before Easter. Here you can better see how the boat looks inside.

2008-07-02. Ove on deck. The weather was very nice the whole evening.
The lifeboats.
The funnel of Cinderella.
The boat dropped anchor on a gorgeous place in the archipelago.
When the sun went down everything was coloured in gold.
The reason that the boat dropped anchor was that we should enjoy this place and have an anchor party. You could buy coffee, soft drink or beer and listen to artists who were singing and playing music.
Suddenly I saw some small friends and I went so happy! :-)
It were great black-back gulls. (Larus marinus).  They visited the boat.
Wheeeeeee!
A gull landing on the boat.
Another gull was coming.
A gull sitting, and a gull landing on the boat.
Some more gulls were coming.
This gull was not afraid of me.
The same gull.
Suddenly he landed on the railing near me. He was beautiful! And he showed up good for the picture.
Me on the boat, smiling at the gulls.
This picture was taken 2008-07-03. (the day after) A pigeon who found some food on deck.
The boat, Cinderella made me so happy. There was so much happiness and harmony on board. And there were no grumpy people. Not even when they had to stand in line for taking the food. We helped each other with all kind of things even though we were strangers.

No wonder I was happy. :-)

And God made the sky so beautiful.
Soon the sun should go down.
The boat Silja Festival and a little boat in the sunset.
The band Trio Me´Bumba was playing later in the evening. A famous band. They sing country and Swedish music. This was indoors because now it almost was dark. I bought the CD. They signed it inside in the folder. And the man at the right gave me a hug :-)
Per Myrberg was a singer on the boat. But he also was the sea cruise host. I bought his CD and then he signet the CD. He wrote "Hugs Per Nyberg on it :-) (kramar = hugs)
It was now in the middle of the night. But it was not so dark as in autumn and winter. I was looking out of the window from the boat and saw a lot of light houses.
It was time to go to bed. I forgot to take a picture of the cabin that had a little window. Here the part of the boat there I slept. The cabin: X.
The boat was now on the open sea. And should arrive at the island, Åland in Finland the next day.

I slept well, while Cinderella took me over the glistening, enchanted sea. And the sea was calm the whole trip.

He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves: "Quiet! Be still!" Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.
