Foxy and the horse Caramelle
2009-05-17

Me and horse Caramelle Tooma.
This is the sweetest horse I ever met :-)

In November 2008 when I was Rödluvan, I became a part owner of this horse with 1 000 other people. It was a fun thing the trotting place had. The trottin place is called Umåker.

All had to pay 300 crowns. Several people at my work owend a part  of this horse too. And now we could talk about "Our horse" :-)

It was far away to trotting track. But a friend of me was there and took some pictures of Caramelle. I got the permission to put up these pictures.

She looks beautiful!
Later when in summer coat, I met could meet Caramelle in real.
On this picture it looks like Caramelle is looking at me in real.  I said loudly while looking at the picture:
"Caramelle you must win!"

And she did win her first race! :-)

Photo: Wilhelmina and Lennart Schedin

My son, Lennart drove me to the trotting track. Caramelle was in the stable. I said to Caramelle. I hear that your trainer, Mats is not here today and you sure miss him. Now I want to visit you to make you happy.
About her food.

The kind woman who did care for the horse took out Caramelle so she could meet me and Lennart out in the sunlight.

I got the permission to show the picture of the horse keeper.

Here I was leading Caramelle. The horse keeper told me how to do.

Lennart said he had taken carrots with him for the horse. He asked the women if we could feed Caramelle with some carrots and we were allowed to give her some carrots..

Caramelle went happy and said:: "Is it true that you have carrots with you?
I said: Yes we have some carrots for you. You have been so good and I read that you won your first race and came on the second place in your second race.
Congratulations Caramelle!
Here is your carrot.
Caramelle was eating the carrot "Crunch, crunch, crunch". We were so amused about it.  ;)
Caramelle got another carrot. But you can't see this on the photo.
Yummy! Crunch, crunch, crunch!
Aw, another carrot!
"CRUNCH, CRUNCH!"
"Do you have more food in you pocket?"
Still searching for more carrots.
Caramelle got another carrot. She liked it so much and then she closed her eyes while eating.
I pet Caramelle.
Caramelle has special horse shoes. They look like a real shoe.
I said. Your shoes are beautiful. You must be the queen of horses with such special shoes.
Maybe there are more carrots in the photo bag.
I said: "Now all the carrots are gone".
I think she understood that the food was gone.
I was petting Caramelle again.
I said. "I like the e-mail you use to write to us. I printed them and will save them in a ring binder."
This picture is real funny.
Me hidden behind Caramelle.
I will give special thanks to the woman who was caring for Caramelle. Thanks for your kindness go take out Caramelle. I felt very happy to meet this horse.
Caramelle, you have such beautiful eyes.
Me on the trotting place. There were no races here. They had race in another town that day.
Some pictures of other horses who were in pastures.
This horse was interested when Lennart and I came walking. A cold north wind was blowing and the horses needed a coat.
The horse was happy to meet Lennart.
I think this is a foal he/she was very active.
The foal.
The foal was happy to meet Lennart.
When I saw Lennart petting the horses I remembered when he was a child and could do horseback riding in the zoo in Lycksele. :-)
And when he was adult he tried horseback riding on a horse of a friend. :-)
A wooden horse for children.
I found these flowers on a warm place in shelter.
There were some ponies in the the pesture too.
.
Resting.
Cute
The horse was curious.
Lennart could pet the horse.
A real nice horse.
Walking Foxy on her way to Caramelle.
Caramelle you are so sweet. Please write us some e-mail again and tell about your last race. I promise I will write you too and then show you this page.
