I believe in angels. You can find them everywhere. They are among us. They will help you move on when life is hard. They will protect you from harm. I will try translate a story I found in English. Two travelling angels came to a rich family to stay over the night. The family was not kind. They got not the permission to sleep in the guest room. They got a room in a cold basement. When they should go to sleep the older angel saw a hole in the wall and he repaired it. Then the youngest angel asked him: “Why did you repair the hole. The landlord did not deserve this". The older angel answered: “Things are not always as you think they are”. The next night they stayed over night in a pour house. The kind landlord shared his dinner with the angels. And they may sleep in their own beds so they could rest well. When they awoke they saw the landlord and his wife crying. The only cow they owned died. Now the younger angel went angry and said. You did help the evil landlord with his wall, but allowed that the cow of the pour family died. The oldest angel answered: “ Things are not always as you think they are”. The same day when they were travelling again the oldest angel explained for the youngest angel. "When we were in the cold basement I saw that there was gold on the other side of the hole. Then I repaired the hole so the rich landlord should not see the gold because he was so greedy. Last night when we slept in the poor mans house the angel of dead came to take the wife of the poor landlord. Then I gave him the cow instead". Things are not always as you think they are. Sometimes things happens in our life that make us unhappy. Think about that such things can be to our advantage. By time we will know this. |
