The Vectors "Still ill" LP
Sick… These Swedes rip out some serious rockin' punk shit. Some heart felt Undertones-like choruses all mixed up with
a cleanly demo tape sounding guitar and bass and great late 70's Adverts drum like stuff makes this the best! If you are
punk, buy this! I would like to eat up Panty Raid, the Pagans and Peaches and barf this back up. Thank you.

The Vectors "Still ill" LP:
THE VECTORS are playing some quick, vigorous as well as powerful and remarkable, punky old school hardcore with
high-quality, catchy as fuck singing parts. These 13 tracks run between 47 seconds and 2:42 minutes – there’s no need
to panic since only 3 songs are longer than 2 minutes!! –, so you know THE VECTORS don’t fuck around! If you love,
just like me, one alcohol driven hymn after the other, you cannot go wrong with this pearl!! [Busted Heads Records –

The Vectors ''Still ill'' LP
At fuckin last! After hearing the mix for their second album two years ago i´ve really looked forward to this piece,
and it just as i remember it. It´s 13 tracks of punkrock in it's rawest, purest and energic form coming from sweden. I
really listened trough this to find anything to complain about, and just can't find anything. It's just a brilliant as their first
album and their singles, it's a three chord war raging on. Totally on the top of punkrock. New tracks like ''kill'' and
''damage'', ''blitz & glitz'' is just fuckin wonderful and i found myself just fuckin dancing around in a craze listening to this.
If you don't get this one for yourself for christmas present you are not my friend.

THE VECTORS - LP
My god, these guys rock. Bare bones, straight ahead,
faster paced, punk rock. How raw? The recording sounds as
if Billy Childish had a hand in it (he didn't). Great songs that
are just pounded out, with no relief for the weary. Boom.
Boom. Amazing that just three cats can generate so much
noise. Very cool. All punk rock should have so much energy.

The Vectors "Still ill" LP
Två fingrar i luften, spottloskor, trasiga glasflaskor, tjata brallor
och öppen-mun-rock. Finfina grejer

The Vectors "Still ill" LP
3/5

The Vectors "Still ill" LP
gamla skolan. Umeåtrion The Vectors har genom Busted Heads försorg
fått ut sin andra LP "still ill".
MTV", den andra "Rape the pope.". Ni fattar.

Wow hands down the best stuff I have heard from this
bunch of Swedish (not bloody Norwegians!!!!!) punk n
rollers - the album they did was pretty good - this is
better still, well worth gathering some reindeer poo (or
whatever they use for money up there) and ordering a

The Vectors - Still Ill In past, they released "Fuck Mtv" ep (cool! nice title!!).
This is their album and this band ex E.T.A member participation.
Their sound is not fast thrash hc, not Swedish hc. I feel it's garage R&R sound meets ushc!! Very exciting!!!

VECTORS - RAPE THE POPE (SINGEL-RABID ALLIGATOR 731)
This groups am I hearing some things from sometimes and it´s really nice. They play raw and distorted type of punkrock
which only misfits can like. Just because of that I like it. Because they play that sort of music which really makes me happy
because they can´t be heard on the radio because they too raw. And they manage to make som dirty punkrock which
can be hard for any other band to copy. Very nice plastic thing this and I want to hear all their material on a fullength CD

THE VECTORS' Compilation Tape 1996/98.
''... a compilation of the Vectors, a snotty three piece punk
band from snowy Sweden. (...) It's a pretty frantic in your
face baptism too. The Vectors have a Ramones dumbness
about em in the short 'n' fast blasts, like opening track
'Straitjacket' . And these speed-freaks have their combat-boots
firmly on the gas pedal as they speed off around the
corners like madmen and leave Da Bruddas for dead as
the dust settles. (...) They sing songs with titles like 'Adolph
Hitler Stroll', 'I Hate You' and 'Fuck Punk Rock' which
mixes dumbness and don't give a fuck attitudes with pissed
of observations. (...) Angry pissed of punk bands who
don't follow the rules to the letter are always gonna be
big in my book, looks like Nihlism is alive and kicking in
Sweden. (...)

texter, Kaxig musik och Kaxig sång. ''Spit on you'' är grymt bra även ''See you in the parkin' lot'' utmärker sig!

The Vectors ''Rape The Pope'' 7'' (Vectors)

THE VECTORS - The Vectors (New Lifeshark)
Schnarr, schnalz, bolz, schranz, krrrrr - go!

VECTORS
Still ill LP
[Busted Heads]
It would have been a fucking shame if these tracks would have gone unreleased. The recording was missing somewhere
for years until Busted Heads got hold of it and pressed these 13 tracks on wax that sounds like it's straight from the early
eighties. The Vectors have a serious black flag groove going on with sometimes the vocalist sounding a lot like Jello
Biafra. And even with this obvious influence blast from the past this threesome manages to sound original. The recording
is really snotty and textured with an "80's filter" - I wouldn't be surprised if someone heard this and thought it's some old
worn out vinyl found from the antiques. 13 tracks of snotty punkrock n roll with a hardcore shift on from time to time.
Just grab a six pack and put on the Vectors and wreck some shit!

The Vectors ''Still Ill'' LP
7/10 - [Busted Heads]
I don't know the story behind this record, but apparently it was recorded four years ago and finally ended up in the
hands of the mighty Busted Heads for release. These Swedes play dirty fuckin' straight up hardcore/punk with a little rock
thrown in there as well. It definitely sounds like it could've been at home in the early- to mid-80's here in the US,
specifically on the west coast. It's sort of catchy and memorable, but it's got a shitload of attitude as well as some
aggression that never goes too far. They sound very little like either of these bands to me, but I can hear bits and pieces
from anything from Black Flag to the Dead Kennedys in here. And then you've got your total fucking ragers like
''You're a Joke'' that kick up the intensity factor big time and bring in some UK types of influences. Awesome.
Most of the songs hover right around two minutes or less, so they blow through without a hitch. The production is raw,
but that's how it almost needs to be to fit the music, and they do it right, so it sounds intentionally so, rather than coming
off as shoddy or something like that. It's got that dated sort of grittiness to it, but the mix is pretty even and there's no real
lack of density or anything like that. The drums are really sort of distant, the bass is back there, the guitars have a lot of
crazy distortion going on, etc. It gets my approval. I assume the layout here is similar to the sleeve of the LP (this is a
CD-R promo copy), though I would guess that the LP might have a lyrics insert and such. The artwork is all simple and to
the point. The lyrics are pissed off with plenty of attitude and that's basically how it goes: ''Line up and fight like there's no
tomorrow, It doesn't matter if we end up dead, Together we can do some real damage, And we don't care about your
damn age…'' If you like your hardcore/punk true to form and miss the good ol' days then this fucker's for you. They have
a god damn song called ''Kill'', what more reason do you need!?
Running time - 22:02, Tracks: 13
[Notable tracks: Blitz & Glitz, You're a Joke, Everyone's Against Me, Kill]
- AVERSIONLINE, FEB 2004
THE VECTORS Still Ill LP
(Busted Heads)
Snotty, dirty, streetwise, cheeky punkrock in the same vein as, or mix of, Swedish Randy and American The Strap-ons
with some good old harDCcore thrown in. It's very catchy and raw at the same time and I can see why Mr. 138 would
wanna go with this - it's got attitude! This recording is 4 years old and I'm glad someone finally got it together and released
this as it's nothing you wanna miss out on if you're up for the great mix of old and new that makes for a hell of a obnoxious
punk record. 13 in your face tracks in 22 minutes, just as it's supposed to be. Just listen to tracks like ''Shootin' out your
lights'', ''Enter Armageddon'' and ''You're Dead'' and ''Everyone's Against Me''. [Krogh]
- ATTACK! FANZINE, DEC 2003
THE VECTORS - STILL ILL
Sweden's The Vectors were featured in issue #2 of Take On Your Heroes, so I am already a fan. I was thrilled to open
my mailbox and see this promo CDR waiting to be thrown on the stereo and played way too loud.
The Vectors play punk the old fashioned way: loud, snotty and confrontational. A good way to describe them is
the rawer batch of '77 UK punk (Satan's Rats, Bleach Boys, The Users) mixed with a hardcore sense of brevity and fire
(think the FU's and The Freeze).
The CD charges right out of the gates with 29 hyperspeed seconds of ''Damage'' and doesn't let up one iota until the record is over, 22 minutes later.
Although this is a compilation of sorts, this works great as a whole album, using the Ramones school of set 'em up and
knock 'em down as the band zips through 13 pogo inducing blasts of belligerent, restless punk rock. What the Vectors may lack in originality,
they more than compensate with personality and sheer abandon, attacking their instruments with a raw energy that simply levels
everything in it's path.
In these days of metalcore, crossover, jazzcore, dance punk, emocore, punk-pop, etc, it's refreshing to hear a good, straight forward,
gob on a hippy, shitty sounding punk rock record played with energy, verve and a bad attitude. Fun for the whole family!

The Vectors "Still ill" LP

VECTORS-STILL ILL(CD)(LP)(BUSTED HEADS) This is a LP which comes out in november but I got this one on
CD now already. It was a long time since I heard Vectors now but they have kept their sound and they´re almost better
than ever. They play fast, precisly as I like, and it´s sounding really simple and I got the feeling that The Vectors could
have been in the start of punk in 1977. Because it´s a little bit of the same soundquality over their music and it feels like
if Vectors plays music which they really love and those things I´m really weak for. When you play music because you like
it and you don´t give a daman about all things you must do. Tought attitude musically and The Vectors sails up as a
personal favoruite right now.(EIGHT) 29/9-04

THE VECTORS 'Rape The Pope' EP
(rabidalligator731) 45 2000
4 raging slabs of punk hit you like a baseball bat around the
head. This is Sweden's answer to the blasphemy squad.
Rapeing the Pope don't exactly fill me with glee, but the music
sure rams it home! The Vectors are manic, they're fast and
it's all over before censors can draw breath. 'Spit On You' is
even faster and aimed at Bill Clinton's extra carricular activities,
but forget the lyrics coz the Vectors biggest asset is their
rampaging untameable noise. All delivered on a backdrop of
blitzing guitars, pounding bass and rumbling drums. Flip it over
and Side B kicks off with 'Babble' that's the slowest track on
here by a milli-second and has the best riff by far. Last track
'See You In The Parking Lot' begins with a Pistols 'Satellite'
crescendo and reminds me of early Pack in the way the
revenging guitar rings out, which can't be bad. A nasty little
punk 3-piece here that deserves more attention.

Vectors - ''s/t'' (New Lifeshark, # NLR 021, 1998, D)
Punk'n'Roll & R'n'Roll-Punk ausmacht.
(2,0/MU)

Wow fuck punkrock let's rock. We have a message 1, 2, 3, 4, let's go to the zoo!

The Vectors ''Fuck MTV'' EP (New Lifeshark Rec.)
